An update from Ceitci:
Greetings from Bulgaria! Last month, my husband Marc and I had the honor of being called on stage to personally meet John Maxwell, author of over 90 books and one of the world's most recognized leadership experts and bestselling authors. During that divine appointment, I had the opportunity to share the exciting news about the iLEAD program receiving official approval from the Bulgarian Ministry of Education.
Through the Maxwell Leadership Foundation, our organization has been implementing this 3-year curriculum in Bulgarian public schools and churches for almost 2 years.
We are also entering the second year of the iDO program. We have raised over half of our $6,000 printing goal for the student materials and plan to print the books this summer, in time for the new school year in September.
Also, in July, at least 50 children from our programs will spend a week at a camp called Kavlak, where we will hold our annual summer camp. The cost is $175 per child and covers full lodging, meals, lots of fun activities, great worship, and interactive biblical teaching. For some, it will be the first time they have ever been away from home. For others, it will be the first time someone has looked them in the eyes and told them they are loved, they are chosen, they have a purpose. And some are coming back because each year changes their lives so much. Especially for our orphaned children, camp is the biggest highlight of the year, and they look forward to it year after year.
How Can You Pray?
- We are selling our Ministry Van - pray for the right buyer and timely sale!
- Summer camps - For every child to have a sponsor, and for transformed lives.
- Safe Travels - As I travel throughout the States this summer for speaking engagements, please pray for safety, strength, and divine appointments.
- June & July Trainings - We have several presentations and trainings coming up across Bulgaria this summer. Pray for protection over our team, good health, God's favor, and open and receptive hearts.
