I Love My City

The I Love My City Project is our way as the Church of showing we care for our city.

Our task this year is to clean up the downtown area. Weeds tend to grow up quickly during this time of year making sidewalks and flower beds look unkempt around local businesses.

Project instructions:

When: May 18th @ 9 am

Where: Community Center (415 S HWY 395, Hermiston, OR)

Look for big red ILMC flag and red T-shirts. This is a great project for both adults & kids! We'll give you a few instructions and then break people up into groups of 15-30 and have each group tackle a specific "zone" in the downtown area. We'll be done by noon.

Things to bring;

• Work gloves

• 5 gallon buckets

• Brooms/ dust pans

• Small garden trowels/ weeding tools

• Shovels, hoes, rakes (for clearing the brush)

• Trash bags

All City Joint Service:

When: Sunday, May 19th @ 10 am
